Scotdec and Fox Covert have worked together on many exciting projects.

Most recently, Scotdec were involved in Fox Covert’s whole school Virtual Poetry Competition where pupils from P1-P7 created their own poems on the themes of Child Rights and the Sustainable Development Goals. Three finalists from each class were chosen to perform in front of the whole school and our guest judges: author Diana Hendry and Kate from Scotdec. Pupils were thoroughly engaged in the lessons that led up to the poetry writing and were keen to express their ideas in the form of a poem. Scotdec have joined several of our Rights Respecting pupil voice group meetings and have facilitated Peer Education workshops. Pupils from P3-P7 have planned, prepared and delivered their own Global Citizenship lessons to various classes across the school. We plan to continue Peer Education sessions across the school and beyond by delivering 'virtual lessons' to classes in another local primary.
