I have been working with WOSDEC for a few years now. I completed their Learning for a Better Future course which was amazing and has transformed my approach to teaching. I have developed and taught units of work on climate change, climate justice, fast fashion and integrated many more critical thinking approaches to every day lessons. I make reference to Global Goals and the UNCRC more often than ever and I am currently undertaking a whole school curriculum audit to see if there are aspects we still need to embed or alter. I have supported staff in Issues to Action teaching. I have letters from young people to companies holding them accountable. I have S1 online lessons where they compared Scotland to Somaliland and how climate change is an injustice.
