Woodcraft folk aim to develop children’s self-confidence and build their awareness of society around them.

In response to the pandemic, Woodcraft Folk set up the following website during lockdown and are continuing to develop content and offerings on it:

Woodcraft folk’s dedicated #DreamBigAtHome site enables young people and their families who aren’t able to access a local group to participate in a range of activities rooted in Woodcraft Folk’s values such as equality, peace and co-operation. There are lots of activities to do, weekly challenges and a live programme to join in with.

Anti racist education is urgently needed, the fight to end racism is far from over. Woodcraft Folk stands in solidarity with all those affected by, and fighting against racism in all its forms. Racism must be challenged and opposed, and we all have more work to do. This is a collection of actively anti racist activities for children and young people, along with links to resources from other organisations doing brilliant work in the fight against racism.

This is a collection of activities for children and young people that will help you to better understand the climate and ecological crisis and our part in it. There is also a selection of links to resources from other organisations doing brilliant work in taking climate and ecological action now.

Green Influencers Scheme Woodcraft Folk is joining 40 other organisations in supporting groups of young people to plan and run green social action projects such as habitat conservation, tree planting, litter picking and lobbying.

Kids Got Rights The project will see young people from across Europe working together to analyse how children’s rights are met, recognised and respected in each country and then creating together a toolkit of activities, session plans, resources and extra information on how we can make positive change for the future
